On Monday, will US Airways employees be employed by a company in bankruptcy?

If the answer to that question is 'yes', are there any unanticipated consequences that might raise their head(s)?

thanks  :)

I don't think that after Monday American Airlines will be in bankruptcy.

The new American is about to be born

Its simply amazing how people aren't informed
c mon now the person had a question and they asked it, nothing wrong with that.

who knows what BS rumors they heard at work.

As of Monday it will still be US Airways, it will be a subsidiary of the American Airlines Group, nothing is changing in regards to your employment.

The merger being finalized Monday is when AA emerges from Chapter 11, then the merger is authorized.

No rumors.  I honestly just didn't know what was actually happening on Monday, other than some free pizza which will be a 'grab and go' affair for me.

The same employee group that took your pension because they couldn't afford it, but could afford to give bonuses to "key" people so they didn't "run" to the competition.

Gosh, I hope it's Meat Lovers........
