Well Pete...whadya say we change both?  I'm sure we could get some to agree to the "can't run for president" part, but would the NRA really stand for prohibiting a person on the FBI watch list from buying a non automatic automatic weapon?   Right now that might "open the door" to prohibiting some patriots from getting a gun.

How come the NRA fought any kind of "gun control" that would p[revent  a gun shop from selling  a jihadist a gun?   That's one of those "common sense" things that Bernie talked about, but he's a socialist.   I think we should restrict gun ownership from people on an FBI watch list, or from a redneck patriot who is convicted of domestic violence for punching his honey in a drunken rage.  People who are dangerous shouldn't own guns....but YOUR NRA dues paid to lobby to insure that this gunman wasn't hindered in his pursuit to purchase a weapon.  God bless America.  God Bless our founding fathers.  And God bless the second amendment.

Banning legal ownership of a firearm won't stop the jihadists from killing. The left wants to deflect the real problem of terrorism with gun control. Why? Because Obummer doesn't want to deal with it, or on the more sinister side Obummer is a sympathizer of the jihad. He wants to shut down Gitmo, and released 5 of the worst terrorists for 1 deserter. He did state that the world owes Islam. Obummer could wipe these savages out but he will not. Why is that?

Like I said....since the redneck patriot who blackened both of his wife/girlfriends eyes because they had the gall to question why he was coming home so late should still be allowed to own a gun because he never shouted "death to America".  But because leftly liberals might turn any law that would have prevented someone who apparently did should "death to America"..I guess he must have because he had the attention of the FBI...from legally buying a gun into something to use against a redneck who lost his temper....it's best for our rights as citizens to just allow the guy to buy a gun.    What I find interesting is your debate with Kev....second amendment is holy....fourth amendment is okay to break because "if you don't have anything to hide, you don't have anything to worry about".
