Skip Groseclose a USAirways pilot who retired last year after nineteen years of service died of a heart attack last week while jogging at the age of 61.
Skip was a terrific guy and will be missed by his family and friends. He was a graduate of VMI and spent many years as an Army officer. After USAirways he hired on with the FAA and had just got a type rating in the Airbus A-300/310.
Along with flying Skip loved dogs. He and his wife Susan had seven rescue dogs who now have a home.
So long Skip and happy landings
