The ramp took what trash off? The ramp cleaned what part of the plane? THE F/A'S took the trash off. The f/a cleaned the a/c. I have never had a ramp or anyone other than a f/a or pilot clean the a/c. I have been at the 170 division since day 1. Noone other than the pilots have ever helped us. You 700 do not know what you are talking about. I fly 100 hours every month on the 170 and the f/a have always cleaned the plane. Ramp has never even offered to help(at least on my flights) I have pulled that trash cart from the back of the a/c more times than I care to count and pulled the trash out and sat it on the outside of the jetway at the top of the stairs. Does the ramp think that picking up the trash bag off the jetway is cleaning? That is ALL they have ever done. If they have done anything esle..they did it on their own. Noone has ever made or asked them to clean a 170.700UW said:The ramp took the trash off and assisted in cleaning the plane, according to the fleet service who worked the flight and grievances were filed on it as it was a violation the the mechanic and related contract at the time.

Those 170's are mainline a/c. The ramp was sapposed to give water..it was also catered by U...BECAUSE IT IS U! Oh my gosh.... The CLT ramp was not instructed to anything. Whatever they did ..it was all by choice. I tell you one thing for sure. The f/a have cleaned that a/c since day one. Ramp has never cleaned it. So you must be seeing things.700UW said:Funny if I guess I must have been seeing things.
The Ramp in CLT took the trash off, replaced the trash bags in the cans and assited in cleaning the cabin.
I guess it was all a mirage, just like when the ramp used the utility lav and water trucks to service the plane too?
