You get what you deserve! If anyone thinks that we arent going to get anything but a switch aroo with the last TA is kidding them selves. Mike spoke the truth but people didnt want to hear it! Now he couldve had a better way of communicating with his co politico types in the union but the bottm line the truth hurts. Lets see what happens...my crystal ball says it will be the same contract but mixed up.... But dont believe me ....Watch and learn ...See how our increased dues go to work for ya! Watch how this union tries to make a pig look like a puddy cat!

On the AA forum our "de facto" MEC president agrees ,essentially we are "parked" by the company until an AA vote :

You are right.

I am relieved that we have ONE more chance, thanks to the NMB, to get a TA without being recessed.

As for the uninformed, uneducated, un-roadshow going, un-union office calling, FB rumor mongering, 63% who falled to submit a survey bunch...we will see what category they fall under.

I have been on the negotiating committee from the IAM mechanic and related, it takes two parties to reach an agreement, and with US' history of labor relations does it surprise you?

Place the blame on the company, they are the ones who are holding up the process.

I get that I am working under a DOUBLE BK contract.

I get how many thousands of dollars I will have missed out on. (over $3000 for my household so far!)

I get that AFA has been waiting YEARS for the pilots to get their act together for expiring "me too's". Whose fault is that? AFA.

I get that IF there is a merger APA's vote has a direct impact on me if a TA isn't in place.

I get that if there is no merger the company will have NO incentive to negotiate with AFA and we will sit on a DOUBLE BK contract until the next merger attempt.

I get that if this TA doen't go through Roger will be hung out to dry.

I get that the PHL LEP under cut the last TA while claiming to be neutral.(At least CLT came out and said it.)

Why dont you go to Tempe and tell Doug you want a new CBA, and see what happens.

Explain to the board how are you going to force the company to give you a new CBA.

Like I said, you have no idea how the process works, I have been in negotiations, have you?
