I liked Ralph a lot more than some other people I had the pleasure of meeting in my time at AA.

Ralph was great to work for.... He never saw the need to use capitalization or punctuation in an email, but that said, he was an excellent communicator, and knew how to engage an audience as opposed to speaking at them. He always apologised immediately to the ladies if a curse word "accidently" fell out of his mouth, and never held back on what he thought about a particular topic, which was what I appreciated most. Wish I could say that for other officers at AMR, or other field VP's for that matter.

And, in all the years of working with him, I never recall seeing him lose his temper or even raising his voice. He was a lot like Baker in many regards, and Arpey was lucky he decided to stay around for the past five years.
