Profit Sharing Checks: DELAYED

Bottom line is this current management team just seems like its unable to get anything correct the first time, whether it be res cutover, new uniforms, contracts...ect,ect!!!!! :down: People wonder why the morale is in the toilet at this place!!! :down: :down:


Better to delay it a week and get it right than get it out fast and have to go back and fix it later. You want to bang on someone for making the mistake in the first place, go ahead, I'm sure those of you who do that have never made any error in your positions.

So AP Tech is right.. Heritage aircraft's, W2's, when does it stop? How many times are you allowed to make mistakes before they ship you out...

well if you're a lowly ramp agent maybe once depending on the mistake however if you're Tempe management it's pretty much unlimited
 
Better to do it late and get it right - yeah that's what I'm gonna tell the Chief Pilot when I show up five days late for my next trip.

Totally unacceptable. This isn't over.
 
I would just like to thank the East AFA MEC and Council 66 that negotiated the profit sharing for all flight attendants on both sides. To all the East fa's, thank you for all your hard work and sacrifices over the years!! It is much appreciatted on the West side. Please, let us all unite for ONE fair contract soon!!!! :up:
 
After reading this thread I can't believe the grief people are giving Piney Bob about posting on these boards. It doesn't matter whether he is owed any of this profit sharing, works for US, or is just a valuable customer that's being pushed away by a very poorly run airline. What matters is he's right on target with every post of his I read. I too agree that a one week delay for me is not a problem...but the point is that management gave a date and they are the ones who can't stick to it. The reason is THEY JUST DON'T CARE!!!! Not about the employees or customers. Case in point....on Tuesday March 4th with all the storms on the east everyone off at 10 pm and 10:30 were mandatoried in CLT to work OT. I wanted to go home but per the contract they can mandatory us so I stayed .7 hours over. Well on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I checked my Timecard in "Birdbrain" and the OT never showed. Each time I went to a manager I was told that KP would be putting it in and there was nothing that needed to be done by me. I was off Sat. Sun. and Mon. and upon coming back today checked my timecard and NO OT yet. I went to the manager and he said to call Payroll. I called payroll and she says that I needed to notify them yesterday so now it won't be paid until the check on the 28th. 24 Days later. Again the same as the profit sharing story. .7 hours of OT won't even get my 3 kids Happy Meals at McDonalds but the point is that I did everything management said in regards to my timecard and they dropped the ball. It's just not important to them whether we get paid or not. The only thing important to them is that they get paid and they're good at making sure that happens. To justify their pay they say that's just what the industry standard is to keep good executives. Well if we only had some good ones to keep. If the day would ever come that they'd say we need to pay to keep good employees in the lower ranks maybe then this airline would have a chance. Until then the doomsday clock will keep on ticking. You get what you pay for.
 
I'll second the motion to exonerate Piney Bob from
all evil doing. I agree, he is totally correct. In Nov.
I got a check from US which a stop payment had
been issued so it bounced. Bam! $16.00 and 5
phone calls. They never explained the reason. It's
possible they don't know. I didn't deposit It for
70 days so the 90 day limit may have kicked in
inadvertently. But still no explanation and no offer
to pay the $16.00. Payroll at my station says
mistakes are rife in Tempe. Its really seams
sad in the end that it's gotten to this. I'm
not inclined to beat up on them. Who knows
what problems they are having. I do however hope MGT
takes this critisism seriously.

So to answer your question, NO I don't "THINK" management bases their actions on what is said her I KNOW it. Every morning someone in Tempe the moment they get to work begins their day reading the blogs and aviation boards. We also know they have tried to infiltrate the "Members Only" portion of the FFOCUS website as we've found IP addresses from inside Tempe.

Again this is f---in unbelieveable what this company does to us as employees.....YES we should be grateful for the handout we get because again it could be nothing .. But when you post a date for release ... standby your word.. I think the word is

SOMETHING THIS COMPANY HAS NOT ONE OUNCE OF.... I am really not suprised at their halfcocked excuse I expect nothing less...... :down:
 
Either way, it is some extra cash coming your way just like a tax refund. At this point I would just be glad to get one at all. Imagine how it feels being a furloughed employee who was working when this was negotiated, only to be on the sidlelines when the checks start coming afterwards. I will gladly trade places with anyone who is getting all worked up about this issue period. As much as it stinks having to wait a bit for your check, it is coming either way.
