What would you do? Are employees desperate enough to open up their wallets to pay or productivity changes to get new management? Management that would ultimately be labor and consumer friendly?

Iam personally finished giving this bunch of thieves and robbers everything we had. I would rather have a helping hand in picking a new management team, one in which we will return to the way we were--mainline pay! And also to get my station back to the mainline jet (may be three to CLT!)

Geeze!

I don't know!!?!?

I'M STILL "CONFUSED"??

It seems that many on this board direct their anger towards Dave Siegel and other folks at CCY. Reliable sources, that I am not able to reveal, have indicated that a new fangled voice messaging system has been installed on Siegel's desk; and the desks of certain others. This new system is programed to send a certain reply each time the send button is pushed. The reply is "Yes Dr. Bonner - Yes Mr. RSA - Yes Sir".

Folks, IMHO, Siegel is not running the show. He has sold his soul.

Best of luck to all at U.

Sorry to say, but those of us that have already been "Expressed" Have nothing left to give if we wanted to. With our new poverty wages, increased medical costs and our wonderful IAM pensions cut in half, we have hit Rock Bottom.

Shut the door!!!!!! I will be sad to see Usair go by the wayside, but I am tired of giving to this band of THIEVES AND LIARS!!!!!!!!

Interesting...so.....mayhaps if/when we do have a new CEO
it maybe Mr 'Bama'?

God help us all....

I'm a Yankee and proud of it!!

The north will prevail and the SOUTH will LOSE>

I am done giving. Sorry to the pilots who can't get other jobs, but my pay is low enough now that if I take another cut, I can replace this income anywhere. Nope, not another cent.

The return to mainline pay isn't going to happen anytime soon, if ever. Going back to the way things were will do absolutely nothing but shut the doors sooner. It's time for the unions to band together and come up with some solutions on their own. Put your heads together and come up with your own business plan, announce it to the press and keep the pressure on. Keep the pressure on and I assure you the press will pick up on the story and it'll be front page news for weeks and then CCY will have to respond. If you don't like their response hold another news conference and blast away again. The key is to have a solid business plan with vision rather than finger pointing and name calling.

I wouldnt mind going to the newspapers and the news organization to blast at the way things have been handled. As for the unions banding together, that would be extremely nice! MAy be a strike? I dont know? thanks for the response to my post.

A STRIKE?? Are you for real?? That's the last thing you should be thinking of! Step one is banding together. Step two would be to draft a SOLID business and marketing plan and show CCY where they're off their rocker. It's not that hard to do considering what you're up against. Everyone on here has dozens of points on how the airline is being mismanaged so put them together and create a plan. What's the worse that can happen?? Dave and his group implement the plans and it works then they take credit?? NOPE....you've got them over a barrel then and you'll have the press behind you at that point to give the facts about who saved what. Time for some thinking outside the box and stop the looking back vision. Look where it's got the unions so far. You should be thinking towards 2008 or 2009 and position yourselves for negotiations.

........HMMMMMM, Let's ponder this point a minute!
More paycuts and/or productivity changes in exchange for new management?

Here are the pro's and cons the way some of us see it,

PAYCUTS- we have already given pay back several times. A lot of us have been knocked down to part time, which is another major benefit cut and paycut in itself, we have to scrape for hours whenever we can just so we can pay our bills. So many of us are definitely against further paycuts.

PRODUCTIVITY CHANGES- this is a really sensitive issue, changing contracts so that lower paid work groups, or "vendors" can perform another group's jobs is unacceptible. We have already done this and there is so much resentment among our ranks. It also means that jobs are lost, plain and simple! Do MORE work with less manpower, or just eliminate our manpower and vendor the work out.

So, my opinion as a lowly ramper in a greatly reduced station, NO MORE GIVEBACKS!!!!

It's time for senior management to pony up and give some money back! Or, better yet, get some management that can run an airline instead of running it into the ground! TIME TO STAND AND FIGHT, not only for our jobs, but for our remaining market share wherever we might still have some!

Why do people keep saying management has to give back more? Management, like everyone else has already. Get your facts straight!

Its 330 in Arlington. How many sales calls have you made today? Are you above or below quota? Has your average $ale been increasing, constant, or decreasing?

I'm off today on the computer at my house. And you? Stop throwing stones, sir.
