I'm wondering what US is going to expect PSA customer service to chip into the pot. Maybe another go at a contract? I'm thinking that maybe the company would save more cash if they didn't have to hire law firms all of the time to send letters to the various unions, telling the unions that they just blew some sort of "last, great chance".
I have heard of employees who have come up with great money saving ideas and freely offered them to the powers that be, only to have said ideas ignored. I know through a friend that one guy at PIT was approached about a problem he had actually solved six months earlier (and had his solution ignored), and now the guy won't give away any of his ideas unless he is paid a consultancy fee of $1000.00 per hour.
I gotta meet that guy!
