Pit Res To Close?

Well, I have to admit that I am a little bit worried now that Hawk has come out and stated that it is only a rumor. I can remember back in September when the Airbus farmout "rumor" surfaced. Hawk was quick to scold for spreading false rumors but by the end of the week the aircraft was in Mobile Alabama under contract!
Hopefully Dave will not be foolish enough to close a Res center.....although his excellect managment team may have done a study and found that the customer enjoys extended hold time!!!!!! Great idea on boosting revenue Dave!!!!!!

Stop spreading rumors?

Hell, in fact it becomes TRUTH!!!

The once exiled deposed leader, hints? Could MANAGE this place profoundly greater then these idiots!!

LEAVE NOW!!!!

Is tomorrow not the big meeting day for all the higher-ups in CCY ?.....I'm told that all with a pay classification of 80 and above are to be in attendance.

Is this the un-vailing of Plan 2004 in the works ??? Survey says it is
First two flights to DCA from Pit tommorow are booked to capacity and are 95% of the passengers are USAirways management. Dave has called in directors and managers to reveal the new business plan.

I called the USairways credit union in PIT today and the teller told me she heard that Seigal was stepping down tomorrow.

?????

Yea...I always call the credit union when I need to get the facts straight, I can't think of any other place that would be able to sieve through all the dirt and come up with the clean clear pictures of current events....I love it. BUT, I must say I sure hope the credit union is on the money.

I'm sure Seigel wants to disgrace himself further in front of an audience.

I wouldn't ask for a loan from the Credit Union due to thier less than competative rates....why would you seek them out for insight on the company? They are in fact privately owned afterall.

I did notice on my last statement...The Beers School Rd street address has been changed to "University Blvd." now....when did that officially change?

I know it was called that from the intersection at Brodhead and Beaver Grade Rd. going toward Robert Morris University...but when did it change names heading toward the airport itself???....needless to say this is a change I don't like much.

Maybe the credit union teller is Chip's "reliable source"!

Funny, when I go, the only conversation I get is "checking or savings?"

But yes, it would be nice.

Funny you should mention that. I'm back in PIT for a few weeks around the holidays, and noticed the "Beers School" to "University" change on my way to that very location (US credit union--they go surcharge free with my credit union :) ).

I always thought that any street name with "Beers" and "School" in it should be left alone just for posterity sake. I have consumed both "Beers" and "School" somewhere along that stretch in my day. "University Blvd" is far too vanilla :D .

Do not be surprised at "wheels" comment if it happens -- the comment could have legs.

On Mar. 3 2001, who addressed the US Airways ALPA MEC over the LOA 79 discussion and said the company was in play with AA & UA the suitors?

On Dec. 23, 2001, who predicted the Jan. 9, 2002 AA carve out of the US-UA merger?

In Apr. 2002, who predicted the AA ambivalence comment reported by Marilyn Adams in the USA Today?

Who predicted 36 hours before its filing, the 21-day Hart-Scott-Rodino Act Justice Department notification by US & UA?

Who broke the news of the potential UCT in Mar. 2002? During this discussions who said the domestic "revenue umbrella" would be a US-UA alliance. Moreover, who first predicted on this site that the company would join the Star alliance.

Who predicted UA would violate their DIP financing -- before the unexpected $300 million TSA security grant -- and then reported Duane Woerth's comments. Furthermore, what did UA's bankruptcy attorney say last month about UA meeting its DIP financing requirements last summer.

Regards,

Chip

All that me me me ....and what does it add up to for U or Me or anyone else on the property ???

Lots of words Chip....but no real substance. U is still a basketcase....UA is still making it....and AA is not even a mention in our future , So all your Who said what?..or who said it first diatribe amounts to dried Sh*t in the end

I won't even expand again on your non-sensical comments and fairy-tales about drawing in fleet assets that would further drive us down.

PIT REZ FUTURE ???

After eighteen years with this company, and having worked in three different centers, nothing would suprize me anymore, should they decide to close !
The "latest word" officially, is Jerry Glass is due into PIT, building # 7 sometime Thursday morning, Dec 18th to meet with rez staff, officially listed in PIT DAILY.
Anything is possible, moving to Alabama, just INT to handle it all, or simply contracting it all out to save $$$....yet I feel that USAirways will never get the "true picture"....for customer service. Look at this past weekend with storms in the NorthEast, we averaged a low of 200 to a high of 400 calls holding all day.

Let's all wait & see how things unfold, even managment has "delayed" thier usual inhouse meetings (held Tuesdays) for the Jerry Glass arrival....interesting..........

Best Luck to All
