What a scumbag operation this airline is; no head's up no warning. January bid is out; PIT is going down to 26 Airbus blocks -- currently there are 56 blocks. I believe the rumor about the base closing in Feb. to be true. Sad day and it just goes to show the company's goal is to make people miserable so they'll quit. I've never heard of a company succeeding with that sort of goal; have you? This sucks! Eye

If anyone is thinking of moving to Charlotte and want to rent for a while, there is a really nice 3 bedroom, 2 bath lakefront condo for rent on Lake Norman in the complex I live in. I know $1400 (could be lowered or negotiated since it is off season) may sound like alot, but you ARE lake front, have pool, pier, beautiful views. lots of shopping and clean area. It is a 25 minute drive to CLT if you avoid rush hour. There are alot of cute communities in the area. The master bedroom is huge with a big walk in closet and gas fireplace in the livingroom. The patio is really big and when there is a storm around or if it is windy, you can hear the waves fron the Lake.

If you have to leave PIT, you may as well come where the weather is better..just went on the boat last week, and be where US will be a player IF we survive. If interested, pm me and I will get you the info.

Yikes. Over a fifty percent drop in AB lines for PIT. Are the Boeings making up some of the difference?

BostonTerrier, not sure. But I can only assume they've taken a big cut as well. I'll see what I can find out.

Thanks...just wanna help. The place was about to be sold and there was a lean on it from the govt because the owner decided to stop paying and didn't pay her association fees. I felt sorry for the lady who wanted to buy it so bad. She really got screwed. I guess the govt feels the only way they can make up the loses is to rent it out.

No warning...?

You got to be kidding, right...? Is your head that far into the sand?

BTW, the company is in Bankruptcy and might clease operations in the future, in case no one has "warned you" of those things either

Geeze

What an A-HOLE response! Don't you think it would be in the best interests of the employees of the PIT base to give them a head's up? I guess its too much to ask. Hope you get a new gig next year; I did. C-YA!

Dude, anyone based in PIT, that has not already made plans for the probable or eventual closing of their workplace, have turned a blind eye to the obvious.

Ya know...it has nothing to do with being an understudy to a320.....its called being realistic god dammit...when will you nere do wells realise that! God damm....we have to adapt or fail. Its pretty simple!

Eye, I went on the HUB and pulled up the PIT blocks. It showed 56 AB, 73 B73, 21 75/76, Has the company cut out 30 of those AB blocks since posting them? Just curious.

PSA1979 it's the January pilot bid for Pittsburgh that just came out two days ago. I am sure the HUB isn't up to date on this.
