Lets see LAVMAN!!!! Ok they followed the job card.....like I said what about common sense?? HMMMMM.....No power on the aircraft?....keep applying the brakes????.....the system bled down?????.... NO...DID IT REALLY???? What the hell do you think would happen with no power applied to the aircraft, and you continuously apply brakes??? WHY, Hell......your going to bleed the system down until you have no hydro pressure!!! That = NO brakes!!!!!!! HOLY HELL!!!!! That damn job card!!!! Maybe if YOU understood what the hell you are talking about, and stop spouting off at someone just because you dislike them, maybe you wouldn't look like such a fool sometimes!!!!! Stick to dumping SHI$^#ERS!!!! GOOD DAY!!!!!700UW said:Once again, you were not there and you do not know what happened.
The mechanics and the lead followed the job cards, it called for repeating of applying the brakes then letting the brakes go, with no power at all on the airplane, the system bleed down as the mechanics followed the job card, the plane lost its brakes and rolled off the scale.
Glad to see you are back to your old self and you spew once again, you did not read the job card nor were you involved with the incident nor the investigation were you?
Maybe if you took the time to understand what happened you would actually add something to the topic instead of ALWAYS trying to criticize me.
Funny how the job card was changed AFTER the incident happened and the lead and the mechanic's discipline was removed.

Cant PIT ask the court to protect it's security in the property by canceling the lease? After all they do this in Indivual Bankruptcy by requesting that the debtor either sign a reaffirmation agreement and/or provide a means to assure future payments by having the Trustee collect those payments. If so how could the court refuse if PIT were to show they have someone willing "and" able to pay?700UW said:You cant lease something that is all ready leased by another airline.

you speak from a perverted pulpit......Uair has an escape clause for maintenance hangars and not gates.....unless you have been on an island...Uair gave back most gates...Uair is already seeking additional gate space due to recent 'problems in PHL' and additional east/west future routings.....justaumechanic said:With 14 flights a day with more service coming the chance that Southwest needs
or wants this hangar is close to zip.
US Airways can leave PIT at any time now.. The 1 year escape clause is now in effect. That was the original agreement.. Look for US Airways to unload additional gate space in PIT after the next schedule change the the implementation of Southwest service into PIT.
