Anyone know anything about a pulldown in PIT flights in Jan?
Also, Is it me or is it annoying to anyone else that tons of celebrations are happening out west while the east sits in limbo about their future? It's like, hey we just got on heckuva deal at the foreclosure...Let's party...

You are US East and are irritated because we are celebrating out west...I am US West and are irritated because we are celebrating out west....maybe we have more in common than everyone thinks.

Got ya...Been there through the many mergers. The PI and PSA people. The quality the dedication. GONE..
Thanks...

I disagree. I have been through the aformentioned mergers, and am still working with quality, dedicated employess from PI, PS, and AL.

Generalizations really suck, expecially when they are wrong

Maybe I said it wrong....A lot of quality people were left out in the cold by US....I agree there are some still here and they are quality.
That's all...no offense...

For all of you who can not celebrate that US East is still flying and US West has grown considerably should call the employee assistance line and get some help.

We are happy, happy, happy....just remember that US East is over here....I have watched the division of a company by employees who felt that, well, for example..., If you are US West, you will not want to adopt the nickname of mecca or the motherland(in US case could be justified).....It creates what you may have read in the various articles a failed merger due to the companies' inability to merge cultures.

If its a team....Fill in the blank....

Out West everyone seems open minded and excited I think the only real disapointment so far is how gloomy some Easties are and how bossy they seem too.
As the mergering starts and we look at procedures Westie attitudes seems to be "Ok we do this, how do you do it? Oh really how does that work? Wow what if we took the best from both?"
And the Easties attitudes seems to be "NO your going to do it our way! Next question!"

As far as the gloomy part I expect over time the Easties will get their grove on too! When we do party your always invited and you can also have your own local things going on. The Cactus Club and Do Crew are certianly things you can do back East. I also imagine that once the merger is done you will see a more balanced approached but right now everyone is in Tempe and very busy.

it started....and will soon end....goes by the name MidAtlantic

Hopefully somebody is in charge that will tell the old US east boys...."yeah...you've done it that way for decades, through several CEO's and boards of directors....now it's time to change."

Dont judge the easties by what you see on this board. Yeah, we've been through hell and back....a couple times, but not all is gloomy. A lot of uncertainty is in the air, but on the whole, the easties are excited about our new lease on life.

US West, US East. why are you promoting division by pretending you are different?.

There is no master race in this airline. Only people pretending to belong to one.

The new startup?

Project ROAM?

It was a Beauvais enterprise, doomed to failure.

Ed is working for the city of Maricopa, trying to upgrade their airport into a large corporate airport/office park like they have in Scottsdale.

Good location for one, good chance of success, provided Ed doesn't give cushy jobs to his sons
