Pit F/a Transatlantic Base Closing?

With the recent announcement that PIT is losing FRA and LGW service, does this mean that the PIW base will be closing effective 11/1? Do these PIW F/As have the right to bump people in PHW and CLW or to they just go back to their domestic bases before they joined PIW?
Also, what effect will this have on the 2005 Global Bid? Geez...this sounds like a mess. :unsure: PITBULL...do you have any input? Im in PHW now and we are all anxious to find out what is gonna happen.

Dear ITD Members,

As I am sure you have read in the papers, as I did, the Frankfurt and London
flight will not operate out of Pittsburgh commencing after October 30,
2004. The company is still undecided on whether they will take these
flights and add them to PHW flying in Philadelphia.

In the meantime, the company is planning to reopen the Global bid again on
Monday and run it for 10 days. If you don't rebid, you will return to
regular domestic flying in his/her respective domicile as per Sec. 12.F.3.a.

Does this mean every flight attendant must rebid the global or just the ones in PIW? I sure hope AFA gets this out to all flight attendants ASAP.
