Are you that blind?

How does M&R tell the company to run its express ground handling operation?

Do you have M&R Envy?

Dude You are Funny. As we all know, You are no longer employed by USAirways as a Utility employee. WHY is that, the IAM Finally sold you down the river too?
You claim to have been on the Negotiation Commitee, So You should know the truth. Conversation Over.

New stations for EN are CAPPED AT 10.00 PER HR. Starting pay was 8.72. EN was losing so many bids they had to lower the salary for NEW EMPLOYEES. If any EN employees want to transfer over to a NEW Station they were also CAPPED at $10.00 unless something has changed.

Piedmont is also taking over the handling of express operations in the majority of the cities that were just announced in the latest round of layoffs in 11 cities....causing severe hardship for yet another 176 hard working employees that helped keep this company from the brink of extinction in most cases long term employees, being replaced by low wage, non-company employees who could give a rats a** about the rest of us or our customers...I see it first hand in my station daily...

they also handle all the express handling in CLT and PHL, now PHX so what that means is, it's looking like there will be one company handling all express operation across the system....

Now you don't have to be a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon to see where this is heading! If you need me to spell it out, I will, but hope I don't have to...

I have to get off these boards and call my union! They'll put a stop to this non sense. Oh wait, it's uSaPa......forgot, all they have time for is infighting. Hmmm....seems to be resolving a lot of serious issues now doesn't it?

USAPa....wow...what an outfit.

Where the heck is Steve Bradford (er, Capt. Steveroo now I guess) when you need him?

Get your info right, I was a Stock Clerk, and our CBA was abrogated, guess you forgot that fact and I was on the NC for M&R.

I think we need you to spell it out. An existing contract company, Mesa, doing USX work, is being replaced by Piedmont, a wholly-owned subsidiary doing USX work. Not ideal, but at least the work is being performed in-house...

As far as F/As and pilots being outsourced... they are already. Republic & Mesa are outsourced flying that should be mainline and would have been before bankruptcy. Air Wisconsin and others are outsourced flying that should be Piedmont & PSA, the in-house regional carriers.

You want USAPA to take care of ground handling? Is that how you want your dues spent? I don't. Is everything USAPA's fault? World hunger? Global warming? The Tucson shooting? We have plenty of valid issues with USAPA, so why don't we stick with those and not everyone else issues?

Well. This is interesting. I heard it from a reliable source in PIT management that Jetstream will be taking over Express ramp operations in PIT, and NOT Piedmont. What's up with that? You would think the company would want to put a wholly owned company in charge so they can keep a close eye on expenses and quality. Anyone else know if this is true?
Trying to cut a deal with CWA ?

You mean to tell me that EN couldn't staff PIT with employees making $8.72/hr? That doesn't make any sense, because the economy in the PIT area could easily support that, especially if you take into account the perceived value of flight benefits which bring the pay to about $12.32/hr (If the flight benefit is used to the average of $7500/yr, which is what the company bases the value on per IRS regulations)
