Heard thru the Grapevine that 17 Directors, from Regional and above will be deployed to attempt to fix PHL. I have heard that our stations regional will be asigned to PHL for six months. Not sure when all of this starts but this is what I have heard. A long while back, a few of us suggested that Unlce Al be sent to PHL and if HE could not fix the operational problems he should be let go. If what I have heard about the Directors going to PHL is true, then maybe just maybe the Sand Castle will start to realize the value of their employees, and I do not mean the directors. If they cant improve PHL, then THEY SHOULD BE LET GO !

Boy, they just don't get it.....PHL is not fixable...They could send the entire calvary and the end result will be the same.... :down:Thats just great,more traffic cops,thats just great... :down:
What are they going to direct,hope they stay off the ramp,its to crowded now.
some key quotes here are "attempt to fix PHL" and "If they cant improve PHL" they should get out...it's un-fixable!

Usually AVOID the clusterF at all costs, but occassionally I do get Bourbon Chicken withdrawls. Talk about a powderkeg just a matchstix away.....

Just curious to those posters that work in PHL. Do YOU think things there can be fixed and what do you think it would take to fix PHL? Just asking as a westie who doesn't completely know your plight. I'd like to know what those that work there really think. I mean this seriously and honestly. Please don't perceive this a being condescending. It's not. I know things are hell all over, but I get the impression that the PHL people are in an even worse hell.
I'm not interested in management spin, so you management types can save your time and not post a response.

EVERYONE seems to be afraid of PHL! Fire the trouble makers and let them grieve it! IT WILL TAKE MONTHS, if nor YEARS to get to this. LET THE TROUBLE MAKERS SUFFER!!! We defend them TOO MUCH!! I can say the same for USELESS f/a's!! Don't like your job? Go Fu## your self!! Go somewhere else!!!

Move TransAtlantic to Pittsburgh. It's the best airport in the nation in the winter. (in my opinion)
Very few ATC issues.
