Although I question WN's business practice of PHL flights, I don't think this needs to be reduced to maniacal laughter somehow pertaining to deli meats on a roll. I like WN a lot and hate to see them fail. However, PHL is questionable insofar as long term profitability. Like B6, WN was expecting US and maybe even DL to die out. However, with US as strong as ever, thanks to the HP merger, US has left WN to the very conditions they wished to avoid back in the "golden days;" big congested airports with a strong airline claiming fortress hub status. This is one of the reasons why WN chose to ditch the likes of SFO and DIA and chose the likes of ISP over JFK, PVD/MHT over BOS, BWI over IAD/DCA, FLL/BWI over MIA, HOU over IAH (yes, drive times too, but let's look at the whole reason) and of course, LUV over DFW... etc etc etc...
