PHL-BOS elimination

Since Delta is finally eliminating the PHL-BOS route, does anyone want to guess how long it will take them to eliminate their PHL-CDG route? I'm sure they only added this route to try to prevent US from adding a 2nd CDG route. I would give this route 4 months before they pull the plug.

It hasn't started yet (sorry, I can't recall the proposed start date)... Supposedly, DL will be taking the route over from AF as part of the Joint Venture...

All AF flights are DL flights and vice versa just as it has been with KL and NW. DL is taking over the route as of Oct or Nov in order to use a 757, which AF does not fly. DL is also taking over EWR-AMS.

BOS-PHL is obviously not core flying to DL; DL simply does not see a need to be in the middle of a bloodbath in the NE in non-core DL markets.

They don't see the need? Then why do they start and re-start that route and so many others so often? That one route I have seen start and stop at least 3 times that I know of.
