“Based on “
The present of your station DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE MAKING MAINLINE PAY AND BENFITS IF YOU DID NOT PAY UNION DUES
As for the future of small and medium station. Current union agreements with other airlines and unions will make it a challenge. But I guess you can take your chances and vote non-union with the elation comes about. The company will take care of the Passenger Service Group as always RIGHT! You pension

CWA Chief of Staff Ron Collins led a discussion about the interim letter of agreement the company proposed last July. That letter of agreement will not be submitted to members for a ratification vote. “We understand that many members had serious concerns about the vendor language in the LoA, among other things,” said Collins. “We are here today to make a plan to move forward together. We are unified in our determination to fight for a fair agreement with US Airways, and to strengthen our union as we head into this merger with American Airlines.”

Don't get me wrong, I'm voting "yes" for the union. Just want to see our leaders earn their six digits and negotiate hard to our catch up! .

Keep in mind the GS pay scale is a 20 year progression. (Steps 1 thru 10).

Steps 1 thru 10 at "that" GS pay level, you are free to put in for a higher GS level at anytime. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for your pay and benefits, just wish we had gotten cost of living raises like you guys. Our taxes pay you, I have no idea how you will continue to be paid if we don't catch up and of course pay more taxes on the additional income.

You can apply for a job at a higher GS level but that doesn't mean you'll pass the interview and get the position.

That's true, good luck. If we can get the deficit under control you probably made a good career choice.
