Pain Pain Everywhere- Uvn Rules The Boards

I need to get in touch with a first officer I flew with years ago-CLW. I cannot remember his name but he is Swiss I think. He speaks German and flew the 76. His brother flies for Swiss Air I think and I have some questions for him about that airline. I cannot remember his name but if anyone can, pm me. Thanks.

I'd love a trip to the optometrist, but I don't have affordable health care.

Funny you should mention our loser "insurance?" A friend of mine told me about her brush with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of South Carolina. You know that "purple pill" Nexium; the one for stomach problems. Our insurance won't cover it! Great, the company gives you an ulcer but won't pay for the medication to fix it. WTF!!

The insurance company has denied the coverage, not US Airways.

Wow. Nexium is pricey. Is there an alternative? You can get a prescription for about $75 from www.canadianpharmacy.com - its actually cheaper than Costco.

Who's got $75 for medicine unless they are, say, a VP or something?

So? US Airways picked them to do just that; deny the employees the coverage they deserve. You would not believe the hell people go through with this insurance company on the most basic things. It's a huge waste of time; kind of like preparing Bush for a debate. It just doesn't get it.

Believe me, all types of insurance companies deny coverage for any number of reasons. My insurance company denied my wife's chiropractor appointment even though the chiro's X-ray showed that she had three discs totally misalligned owing to her labor/delivery.

You are not the only abused child out there.

ITRADE, you should say abused wife. Sounds like a loo loo in the labor room. The kid must have been a big one.

Actually no. He was 5 weeks early. Unfortunately his shoulder got caught on the corner of, well, the exit door..... And a lot of contorting was required to finish the job.

Ow! Poor wife, poor little guy. Hope she gets the treatment she needs. Fight the insurance dogs! My wife ended up having two c-sections, kids refused to come out even with massive labor induction drugs. After three days of labor with no results, she swore she'd never do it with me again. I mean she swore... you know.
