whats your definition of return on your dollar?Ms Tree said:So long as I am getting a return on the dollar no I do not. Because I know that we can either pay a little now or a lot later. Something that a regressive conservative like you cannot even begin to comprehend.
In other words, as long as I got mine to hell with individual liberty. NICE! Well at least your honest in that you think it perfectly fine for the feds to confiscate MY WAGES to give you a better deal.Ms Tree said:Saving more than I am spending. If I spend . $1000 in taxes but get health benefits that are.worth more than $1000. I pay $1400 a year for home owners insurance. Shod my house burn down or get hit by a tornado I have a 1% deductible and they will rebuild the house. Pretty sad that a lot of medical procedures cost more than my house.
wouldnt you be able to do that without the government forcing you to buy a product?Ms Tree said:Saving more than I am spending. Not the last time I checked. When I lost my job 6 years ago I bought health insurance for the Mrs and my self. The rates were crazy high and the coverage sucked.PHXConx said:wouldnt you be able to do that without the government forcing you to buy a product?
now prices will do nothing but go up... because you have to buy insurance... or you will be fined... err taxed lol
same thing happened when insurance company lobbyists talked states into forcing their population to buy insurance to drive a vehicle... car insurance skyrocketed because now you have to buy it, so you will put up with the high rates... or you will be fined... oh sorry taxed... its not like i can buy car insurance in a different state to get my prices to drop... wouldnt that be nice...but thats mandated by law too...
You don't get it! The tax kicks in in 2018, but companies that want to avoid it, will be hitting up the little guy's policies long before that!---In words you can understand, B.O.H.I.C.A.!!! Thank you Obama!PHXConx said:2018 will be here before we know it
Government has the right to do what ever the people say it can do. If a majority of us want single payer then you will have to deal with it.SparrowHawk said:Single payer is WRONG. Simply because no government has the right through extortion or coercion of an agency like the IRS to confiscate my wages so you can get a discounted Viagra prescription.
Problem with that is most countries that have single payer also have payroll tax of well over 50% to pay for it!!!Ms Tree said:

I love the idea of single payer and I'm all for it. Confiscation and all.
