So in other words, the 2009 charge leveled by Sarah Palin and John Boehner that Obama fully intended to set up what Palin termed government "death panels", panels that Boehner said would set the government on the road to euthanasia, is no longer a charge. It's reality. By executive fiat, in this case a new Medicare rule issued by Obama Medicare czar chief Dr. Donald Berwick.

Which is another way of saying something else: Governor Palin has been vindicated. Speaker Boehner has been vindicated. And Palin's critics in particular now have more than holiday eggnog all over their faces.

Control and pressure. Pressure and control. This is the only two-step philosophical/political dance liberals know. It is, as it were, primal. And the Berwick Medicare rule, constructed in secret and released on Christmas Day when it no one is looking, is a perfect example, if hardly the only example, of how the Obama Administration views its role. Control and pressure. Pressure… and control.

Take it one step further...Berwick is on record saying he totally believes in rationing as a way to cut costs. Rationing is what started the "death panel" verbage.

Death panels? What are you people so scared of? Who do you want to be in charge of the end of your life, you or some doctor who has no vested interest? You will die eventually. I for one want to go out on my terms.

I want the "Government" involved in my life as little as possible, but sure as hell don't want them involved at all, at the end of it !

Thats only in your head my friend and a bald face lie.The government is elected by the people for the people. You seem to think you work to serve your government, rather your government to serve you as was its intention by our founders. Only when liberal politicians come into play thinking they know whats best for you. Thats not what the founders had in mind. You want and love a nanny state to take care of you from cradle to grave. You want to surrender you freedom and liberty to elitist politicians who will dictate every aspect of your life like a subservient slave to save you from yourself.

Economy killing Obamacare
High unemployment
Failed Mortgage Relief program
Financial Regulatory Reform Boondoogle (minus the main culprit Fannie and Freddie)
Spent more in two years then Bush did in eight years.
Surrender nuclear arms program

So as you can see there was a lot that got done.
