NW Pilot Union Asks Strike/Preparedeness Comm For Plan

It doesn't matter what Obestar thinks or says.

Funny how he is only concerned about less service and higher air fares NOT job loss.

Dear Mr. Obestar,

What do you think deregulation is?
Little too late.

The merger "is likely to lead to less service to small communities, reduced competition in larger markets, and higher fares," Rep. James Oberstar (D-Minn.) said in the letter dated June 5.

Aaahh! so it's the merger that's going to lead to less service and higher fares   ... silly me, all along I thought it was price of oil and the pending recession that was to blame <_<

Ask Obestar to let the Fed become the 'Lender of last resort' for the airlines like it did to facilitate JPM 'buying' Bear Stearns.

No one on the street is going to lend the airlines the time of day, the government has set the precedent with JPM, time for the government to open up that window.

Does this dude Oberstar keep up with the news ?

Most of the other airlines have stopped talking to one another about mergers !

I think he just likes to hear the sound of his voice !
