A dissension is a person's opinion, and it really doesnt matter, as it goes by majority rules, just like the supreme court.
But majority rules from the membership means nothing to you! You are a sc umbag leech!

Another screw job from both worthless unions. One union negotiates a bankrupt contract (IAM) the other union couldn't fight its way out of a brown paper bag. You both suck arse plain and simple !
Give me my 4 percent you worthless turds and lets see the next round of concessions you are going to shove up our collective arses
WHAT A SHAM

Lets not forget the worthless NMB totally biased and unaccountable another bunch of crooks

The Socialist win again. No Democratic vote for who we want representing us. So I get to work along side a US Air mechanic with a full pension and mine is frozen. If we don't get a new pension on this joint contract both unions will be standing in the unemployment line.
Full pension?

No.

The DBP was TERMINATED in bankruptcy, in 2005.

They just got into the IAMNPF in 2008.

You don't want anything to do with the IAMNPF and that is what these crooks will roll your (and my) frozen pension into.  This will shore up the pension for a few short years and then it will be grossly underfunded.  But you are guaranteed $1300 per month.  To put it another way, the guy you are working beside with the "Full pension" will be drawing next to nothing when he retires due to underfunding but if your frozen pension is left alone (It won't be) you will draw everything you were guaranteed.

Correct.

And since I just lost my democratic right to vote, and the two unions get to tell us what we want, I want your 401K and match money.

You guys can have my IAM pension.  Or what's left of it.

Just kidding.

This is a dark day in our future, and that I'm not kidding about.

This Association if "Crowned" cannot take my AA pension. It would to be negotiated in Contract Negotiations..

Actually, this determination was only step one by the NMB.

The next determination in a little over 4 weeks will determine who is on the ballot, and from everything I'm reading, there will be a ballot.

I still am dubious that the IAM will make it on the ballot, but we will know soon.

For sure theTWU will be,
I know , not a favorite of many , but compared the Ass, it looks like heaven.

Just got an email from local 591 saying there will be a vote on the alliance. We MUST VOTE NO.
Is it the "Association vs No representation vote? Or Association vs TWU vs IAM?

Well Gentlemen you have your official 30 day window.

If you want out its time to act. While I'm sure some of the cards previously signed have expired, you should still have a large base still current.

You can't be cheated out of a vote if you get the cards - do it in 30 days time and you're on the ballot.

After all I've witnessed as an outsider both here and through AA/US associates I would suspect the collection at this point would be easy.

Mechanics and related at AA can take control right here right now.

DO IT!

Early on in the play for the Association, paraphrasing  Gary Yingst VP of Local 514  a vote against the association would would be a vote for no union....

I believe that that has been retracted..

The letter from local 591 in part says

It is important that TWU officers and activists work hard to get as large a vote as possible, even if there is no competing organization;

I say we write in TWU to make sure this association fails. I know this will be hard for some but I think it's the only wat to assure the association fails

Let 591's legal counsel sort this out before we assume anything. If we are lawyers then none of us would be here on these boards posting.
