No Free Coffee on US Airways

As a flight attendant, just go armed with a wad of ones and fives. You'll be ok. The only stress I see here is making change....end of story.

Is it me or are people neglecting to say that the charge is for coach passengers ONLY! Kettle Class deserves to pay as much as Clampett Class on US Airways.

In the long run this tends to weed out the undesirables!

Worked PHL-CUN_PHL FULL 757. NO complaints! NO fights! NO demands! NO DRAMA! NO PROBLEMS!! Guess what?? The sky didn't fall. All the naysayers will look for one person who PROBABLY got on the plane with an attitude and guess what? He/She got it and had to give away stuff because that's what they wanted to do in the first place. Now everyone, try to discredit those of us who have actually WORKED flights!

Not only are they making $60, but they are not using near as much of the supply. I will be interested in what the long term difference is in this decision.

Will we make the money but lose customers?
Will we make enough money to not worry about the customers we lose?
Will the customers who threatened to leave still come back after all if other airlines follow in our steps?

All the questions that come to mind. It will be interesting to say the least.

Too much thinking! The only people making big deals about this are the folks on these boards. Nobody with a life gives a sh*t! Today proved that for me!

If this is any indication...the concessions were doing quite a business and the beverage machines were practically empty.

I can only imagine. I would much rather have a bottle of soda to drink than a can. The only bad thing is you have to buy it in the airport or on the airplane. It was much easier before when we could bring it from home with us.

How much is a beer in the concourse in the good old USA's finest airport?

As I recall it started around $6 a couple of years ago.

How much should the Ketel's pay at 35K feet?
