I know that the 767 will be going in for new interiors this winter, will the A330's get their new paint this winter or will they have to wait? I can't wait for them to shed their blue for white.

Actually, Doogie said in this week's About US that the 767s won't have their interiors done until this time next year. Seems (so Tempe tells us) that it takes a year to have this stuff manufactured. Right.

I love the old livery. Considering the 330's don't go to the desert and sit in the sun much, it would make sense to me to hold off repainting them. They still seem to look good.

When they refurbish the coach seats on the 767, will they be leather or cloth? What about PTV's?

On the outside, what fleet type is expected to be painted next? Some of the 737's look terrible.

Personally I don't think "Satan's Chariot" the dreaded 737 is worthy of a new paint job unless it is Red and has horns on it!

The 737 is the most successful plane ever built.
That is exactly the problem......built like a tank yet VERY uncomfortable. Most pax DO NOT like them and very few F/A's want to fly them <trips are brutal, pax stuffed in like sardines, NO bin space, Limited video equipped, bathrooms like an Outhouse and a cabin temp like a balmy day in Hell> "If THAT's THE BOEING........I Ain't Going!"

The NG have a nicer cabin then the older ones.

And if it is so bad then why has it outsold anyother airplane.

And look at WN, they seem to be very profitable and succesful with the 737s.

Good point, but as a passenger or crew, given the choice between FLUF or the bent wing guppy killer, I'll take the 737 anyday.

I commute on both 737s and Airbusses. There's no comparison in back: the Bus is more comfortable. As a pilot I'd prefer to fly the 737. The airlines couldn't care less about pax comfort as long as pax keep buying tickets which is what they do when the price is right. Boeing has dropped the ball big time by waiting so long to come up with a replacement which is why the Bus has been outselling 737s for five years or so.

Have you ever flown the Bus? It's a wonderful machine to fly, like being on vacation. I went on the thing kicking and screaming....was a dye hard Boeing driver. After a month or so on the line, I never wanted to fly anything else.

My list for passenger comfort on single aisle airliners from best to worst: Airbus 320 family, E170/190, B757, B727, B737, B717/MD80/DC9, F100, CRJ, ERJ.
