New lanyards

Yes most. I want to be accurate since I have not had a chance to see every west pilot. I know how you guys like ask if we have polled or asked everyone.

How about this. The significant MAJORITY of west pilots have removed the bling. But you keep wearing it, please. If that is the fight you want to fight. Yellow target, just adds to the attrition that you all are hoping for. You do think you are senior to me right? One less east pilot to deal with. Ba bye.

Yeah keep supporting managment and doing exactly as they say.. it fits you well.

HAHAHA Owned and controled by AWA. That certainly isn't something I'd go bragging to friends about. They don't like ANYONE who works here so just keep that in your hat. The company will be busy with their lanyard patrol and certainly with the new flight attendant badge backers. Will they have supervisors available to call in offices since they will be on badge patrol? Talk about chasing feathers off a balcony. HAHAHAHAHA

Pro,

this is not going to adversely effect the pilots at all. Doubt there will be any badge patrols.

Now the F/As who will have to ditch their personalized lanyards and such, they might see a badge patrol.

Once again, usage does something stupid, and everybody pays for their ignorance.

PS. I ditched the hat as soon as that was allowed.

Kinda like being promoted to Activities Director on the Titanic AFTER it hits the iceberg

And will see the same tomorrow!!!! Remember this is not USAPA, this is a grass roots effort by the pilot group LONG overdue, and it will continue.

Long overdue?!?

It's just another stunt that will fizzle out like the other stunts you guys tried.

Remember WWDD? Ya, had the company on its knees.

You east easties are a giant joke.

Or are you serious this time?

"ID Holder Distribution Update
Effective today employees who have been issued company-approved lanyards, armband ID holders, retractable badge reels and clips should begin utilizing these methods to display your company ID and airport badge. Due to a shipping delay, however, not all locations have received their supply of new ID holders. We anticipate all locations should receive their shipments by August 15, so please check in accordingly with your supervisor or work location. Thanks for your efforts to comply with the new lanyard program, and please visit Wingsfor a letter from COO Robert Isom and FAQs that provide additional information about the new program."

I guess they were shipped comat..........

Pilots who are still wearing yellow lanyards are disobeying a company directive and are insubordinate. These pilots are placing them self at risk, once the pilot's Chief Pilot's Office has the new lanyards. The July 31 USAPA PHL Domicile Update said, "we were informed that (Bill) Pollock was starting next week (as the new PHL Asst. Chief Pilot) to assist with what they anticipate to be a sharp increase in disciplinary cases."

When is it ok for a person to break a rule?

When the rule violates federal law.

OK and what Federal law is being violated. The lanyard is part of a uniform and as such is governed by a company defined Dress Code. So I'd like to know exactly what Federal statute says otherwise.
