Once it was determined to be a fuel tank explosion, operational procedures were put in place so the fuel/air ratio wouldn't be in the explosive range.MCI transplant said:Still no answer to my question! If TWA Flt.800 was blown out of the sky by a spark in the center fuel tank, why weren't any 747's grounded afterwards by FAA to inspect those fuel tanks???
