Seasonal service from CLT - BRU,BCN,LIS, and MAN. All beginning in May .

Good news but I was hoping for new cities in Europe being added. Vienna, Naples, and some eastern european cities would be great but I like the idea of having 2 daily flights to LIS to non-rev on.

I love it - how US Airways always introduces new routes with shitty aircraft.... "When we start a new route, we've got to wow our customers" with our 757s and 767s that are falling apart and have no in-seat IFE.

:)

I had a friend of mine fly on the 67 the other day out of FRA... I wound up having to make excuses about the 'below average' material product that US offers, and told them if they are lucky to get an A330, it would be much better. I also told them that all airlines have these older-cabin planes - even Delta.

Nevertheless, it's been my observation that US Airways loves launching new long haul flights on the inferior 67. It makes me wonder if they just want to prepare them for the rest of the horrible service at US, and then by mere coincidence, once in a blue moon, make them hit the jackpot with a decent AC. "But we gotta make them go through a 'first bad impression' first!!!."

US Airways Expands International Reach at Charlotte Hub

There is discussion about US Airways keeping in service the three B767s scheduled to be removed from service because of favorable lease agreements being offered. And, these aircraft could be replaced by AA B767 ERs once the merger is completed and AA replaces these aircraft with B777s, which is permitted by the pilot's MOU. Will this happen? Maybe, maybe not.

My bet is they are awaiting post merger equipment from the AA side!

Why don't you just shut the #### up already if you have nothing remotely positive to say? Jesus . Anything positive that US does you always find a negative . Yes the 767's are old . But it's a start and it helps us expand . Your So annoying .

Don't feed the troll.

United left my brother at the gate in ORD because they need to block 60 seats in the 777 to reach Asia.

Oh please US is the most pathetic among the US legacy carriers everyone knows that. You have the worst inflight service standards, worst terminal/gate facilities at most airports you serve, worst club lounges I mean heck it took them three years to get a liquor license at BOS.

The US 762 and 752 are a joke particularly for long haul flying but hey flying the trash connecting yields those flights will serve the pax probably don't care and the employees don't know any different.

maybe you should finally man up and admit what bank you work for so we can discuss how crooked they are?

11 cities from CLT....It will be interesting to see how they utilize the gates for all these arrivals. Departures I guess are easy enough that they can ferry a plan over to B/C (where they fit).

I don't find the 767's or 757's that bad. I have flown them to LIS,BRU, and HNL. The seat pitch is no better on the A330's and most people sleep on the east bound flights anyway. The worst in US's fleet are the Dash-8's but with 4 leaving the fleet this year and 3 the next, their days are numbered. Too bad, some nice folks there.
