If we can get rid of under paid vendors, offer good service by well paid employees, I'm very optimistic about the future of this company.

Unions need to go after ramp service companies and MROs and bring their wages up and that would help the problem of outsourcing.

Unions are going after MRO's....seemed to remember a copy of the 142 Messenger with AGC's and VP's visiting San Salvador on members dimes and talking about organizing!!!!!  I think the term was "Proud & Hard Working".  Meanwhile back in the real world those members they are PAID to represent, are the lowest paid in the industry!!!!!  Their sights should be focused on the current members and not the $$$ and future dues of prospective members!!!!

Actually they went down there to assist the firefighters, not organizing Aeroman.

Nice video.  Of course Parker's closing words: "We're going to be the largest airline in the world.  We're going to be the best airline in the world," belie the fact that WT, whose opinion on all things aviation are infallible and sacrosanct, would question Parker's grasp of the industry.  It's too bad that Parker is oblivious to the fact that only Delta can understand the industry, and the New American doesn't stand a chance in hell of surviving the Delta onslaught.

(Did I get all of that right, WT?  Just saving you the time to write a post saying the same thing.  Of course, it would take you a page and a half to say it.)

You win the award for brevity, but then brevity is not a virtue at Delta.  Even a cave man knows that.  Sorry.

Be careful there NYC, you might invoke the junior analyst's wrath :)  Phoenix is right, well done, but wayyyyyy toooo short.  For a good WT impersonation tack on about five to six more paragraphs, well worded, with lots of facts (actual BS), but containing nothing.

Doug, please invest a little time on the treadmill.
He probably doesn't have a lot of time on his hands, between work and his family.  I'm sure the DOJ BS added a lot of unnecessary stress.
