Dell....you are right....ANY PRICE is going to be more than NOTHING. Because they WOULD NOT SELL it to her. Perhaps we should abolish Obamacare and you get a preexisting condition...and like her, could not buy a policy at any price. Do you jump up, click your heels and say "Thank God I won't have insurance in case I get cancer"?

Sad truth about the right is that they really do not care nor have any idea how to provide coverage for all the citizens of the US. They seem to think the current system in the US is all hunky dory. Assuming you have money and insurance it's pretty good. If you are at the bottom of the economic pyramid and with no insurance you are pretty much screwed. ER it is. It's free.

That's a little absurd. Right doesn't see any need to throw away a system and replace it with 2000+ pages of reg's.
Right sees nothing wrong with fixing what was in place and was the finest HC in the world.

Didn't matter before Dell...they flat out wouldn't sell her insurance because she had a "preexisting condition". This current policy won't pay for the first year. Of course, when she did have a colposcopy because of an abnormal pap test, they initially denied the procedure cost...the girl on the phone told her that for preexisting condition policies, they automatically deny everything that first year. She pressed the matter and said that arthritis had nothing to do with her woman parts. They finally paid. Gotta love the caring attitude that the free market insurance companies bring to the table. The point is Dell....she COULDN'T BUY a policy to help cover her for something totally unrelated to arthritis. Now she can. And according to you folks on the right - that's a bad thing. Can't wait for single payor.
