I don't have that info here but have read the contract. Perhaps the IBT web site might help? I'll ask around if there is a way you can check it out. May take a few days as I'm going to bed now and have a trip planned for tomorrow thru Friday.

What is the current contract status of the AMTs at Airtran?

I believe that the only mechanics who have a contract thats not either amendable or coming up in the next few months is SWA, they become amendable in 2012. Everybody else is either in negotiations or coming up by Jan 1, 2010. Thats why its so important that the AA mechanics dont cut the industry short by accepting the concessionary deal their union offered the company last June.

Looks like they settled back on October 21.

The AA mechanics contract can be found on the Local 562 website,www.twu562.org. They may not be considered a LCC but they are definately a LPC (Low Paying Carrier).

I could use a copy of the new Air Tran if you have it, any other links would be appreciated as well. From what I hear they make a lot more than us.

I also am trying to find the pay scale for the AirTran Mechanics. Our group has built a chart or table of all airline payscales and only missing the Airtran payscale. I have been trying to find that out too...Thanks GT I have been trying to search for an up to date AMT payscale among the airlines but anything out there now is not up to date..Hopefully someone will come on and give the info.

There wasn't any room to add them unless we added another page. Point is what the chart reflects is passenger airlines in the U.S.
