McDonald's Could Double Wages For Employees

No, a fella by the name of Rousseau wrote the book. BTW, I forwarded your reading suggestion to the DNC.

Got me on the u, and I was trying to type accurately...

While you are forwarding things... . Fwd it to the troglodyte encampment over at the RNC too.

(They can be a bit tough to really get through, the language is not easy, but it is still worth a look for yourself. The foot stomp version that passes for education in social and historical subjects that most get in American schools, and yes I mean the private and parochial ones like my parents wasted their money on too, doesn't really "get it". Lots of regurtitation, not much critical thought, or thought at all. Especially where the TX GOP has its way.)

Funny, Tree says the same thing.

Actually, they ( the Texas GOP... ) said it in their platform. Eliminating critical thinking was one of their stated "goals" re public education, in their platform.

I just repeated it for 'em.

I'm sure they are quite proud of it, and won't mind.

Alas... The usual not-really-very-witty "comebacks", and nothing of substance.

True disciples of the Ailes doctrine.

(Roger, the guy that figured out that in the TV age, the American people could be fooled into voting against their own best interests if the candidate was made "likable". Started with phony staged town hall meetings that somehow did manage to make Nixon seem almost human, and then figured out the same idea works for campaign rhetoric, if you can just paint it as "patriotic", or "conservative". That just sounds all warm and fuzzy and safe. No one wants to be a "radical". For good measure, it works even better if you can give the sheep a wolf or two to be afraid of. Currently, the puppet-master behind the ranting heads at foxnewsertainmentandlies. )

I was wondering where you been....Tree.

Another Ailes-like not.even.very.witty response.

Still nothing of substance

I am still not Tree

Screw minimum wage jobs at McDonalds! The Cato Institute released a study showing that welfare benefits pay more than a minimum wage job in 33 states and the District of Columbia. Even worse, welfare pays more than $15 per hour in 13 states. Hawaii is the biggest offender, where welfare recipients earn $29.13 per hour, or a $60,590 yearly salary, all for doing nothing!

1.Hawaii: $60,590
2.District of Columbia: $50,820
3.Massachusetts: $50,540
4.Connecticut: $44,370
5.New York: $43,700
6.New Jersey: $43,450
7.Rhode Island: $43,330
8.Vermont: $42,350
9.New Hampshire: $39,750
10.Maryland: $38,160
11.California: $37,160
12.Oregon: $34,300
13.Wyoming: $32,620
14.Nevada: $29,820
15.Minnesota: $29,350
16.Delaware: $29,220
17.Washington: $28,840
18.North Dakota: $28,830
19.Pennsylvania: $28,670
20.New Mexico: $27,900

22.South Dakota: $26,610
23.Kansas: $26,490

33.Louisiana: $22,250
34.South Carolina: $21,910

Already proven to be a lie

Those figures are the total cost of providing those benefits, not what the beneficiaries receive.

Informative, and important, figures, but not when you lie about what what they really are and really mean.

Just like Mitt the dumbie claiming that Obama voters made up the 47% of Americans who paid no taxes. A nugget of truth turned into a huge, huge, lie in order to demonize the opposition.

And idiots believe it
