Nowhere else in industry, union or not does bumping occur. Perhaps in railroads, maybe. Otherwise, no. In airlines, only UA practices it, and that will go away. It is NOT a concession to agree to the juniority system if only a few benefit. I would love to trade away any bumping rights for cash, just to screw the Tulsa folks.
