700UW:

I did not obtain the information from the ALPA Website, it was sent as an email from a MEC member.

In regard to my comments regarding BoeingBoy, during the LOA 93 negotiations the Negotiating Committee asked that information placed on the "Pilots Only" portion of the website not be forwarded. I believe the request to not forward information was placed on the code-a-phone. I do not know if BoeingBoy ignored this request, forgot the request, or purposely posted the information, but the fact is there was an official request to not forward the information.

In regard to the MDA Q&A, the difference is this information was forwarded via email by an MEC member, sent by the MEC to pilots, and thus made knowledge versus something that is considered confidential.

When I am told not to disclose information I do not, but this information was made public by a MEC member.

Finally, this message board is regularly read by ALPA's Communications Committee Specialist and Vice Chairman.

I find it interesting that you try to get other people in trouble, which speaks loudly about your character.

Don't worry Jack will be contacting you.

And you would not know a thing about charecter if it jumped up and bit you in the face.

And I like how once again you avoid any questions poised to you.

The MDA information was not released to the public.

Like I said, Jack will be investigating the matter, better think of a good cover story.

700UW:

I find it interesting that you try to "twist" information and run to ALPA to try and get people in trouble. This speaks volumes about your character.

As I stated to you over-and-over, the information was sent via email by an MEC member, the email was sent to thousands of US Airways pilots, and the information was not marked confidential, like other ALPA correspondence.

I will speak with Jack at the MEC meeting, so do not worry about your childish efforts, as usual, they're insignificant.

If it is insignifcant why do you keep responding?

You must be worried, gonna get your BOS MEC buddy in trouble.

I guess you have selective memory, I bet BoeingBoy can add volumes to that topic about running to try and get someone in trouble.

Tsk Tsk....Shame on you....

You're right, why waste my time with you. After all, you really look childish as a "tatle-tale" that has no merit.

It is my understanding the US Airways - Republic transaction to sell MDA and transfer its 25 aircraft is scheduled to close on July 27, which is one-week away. The transaction permits the EMB-170s to be transferred from US Airways to Republic at the rate of approximately three aircraft per month, with the first aircraft leaving US Airways no earlier than October.

Expect more news shortly regarding ALPA's grievance and the Company's response. ALPA does not object to the Company's rigth to sell assets -- the union objects to the parties not honoring LOA 91.

It is my understanding Jerry Glass sent Bill Pollock a letter and the Company said they will honor the Arbitrators decision on whether or not the sale of MDA is a violation of LOA 91. LOA 91 basically says that if MDA is sold in it s entirety, all MDA pilots would transfer to the surviving carrier and its contract and ALPA would survive too.

Today at the MEC meeting Paul Girdany, MEC Legal Contract Administrator, told the MEC that if the Arbitrator, in the expedited arbitration to be heard on August 29, rules in favor of ALPA it forces the company to require the purchaser of MDA to acquire MDA under the provisions of LOA 91. In addition, this letter locks the company into the arbitrator's decision. Girdany and the Grievance Committee Chairman (according to Paul) are pleased with Glass’ letter.
