M&R LBO2 Vote Predictions

Red has probably been out in the heat for a while and it is affecting his frame of mind. I sure he might be able to get on at another major airline. Sorry the heat is also affecting me. SAMs will be his first stop. But not before he drinks more of bobs kool-aid.

Your ship is SINKING and your still on the soapbox. It was over 10 years ago!
VOTE NO !!!
His boat's not sinking! He'll still have his Union wages untouched!!!----- In fact if this goes through, he may get a raise!!! A big one!!!

Wrong. That is a distortion. Prefunding as we know did not change for the over 50 crowd. They still maintained their status under the existing plan at the time. The 45 to 49+364 day group got a bridge to the new SK pay funded plan (like WN) and the under 45 group funded their retiree medical under an unused SK pay bank fund. SK bank went to max 250 days with a catastrophic SK day recovery plan in place. The match would not have gone in to management's pocket either way, it is in a trust and can only be used for the purpose intended, paying for retiree medical.

You believe too much of the vote no coalition's BS.
So you think AA would have left the over 50 crowd alone and keep their retiree medical? You are full of baloney! At this moment they are in BK court trying to screw the retirees out of it! That was a ploy to get a yes vote and then take it away from the ones that kept it since it would be a non issue with others. But whatever you can use to push your pro TWU/company agenda right? You will never see the company's match if you vote yes. Mark my words (and Bob's and Informer's and others). Get the TWU to guarantee that you will get it back. I am sure they would be willing to pay you any funds not given back by AA (sarcasm). Admit it. The only chance you have of getting all the money back is to vote no.

MCT's are still getting paid even under the 3/22 ask industry top wages they voted for in their 2010 TA. If we had voted yes we would be working from number two pay in the industry as a starting point for discussions with AA during the 1113c process. Now we are hoping to get a 3% raise at best DOS with the 2012 TA if we vote yes and abrogation and no raise if we vote no with the ability to "fight" for getting number two wages.

With a possible merger after exiting BK and slow NMB/NLRA process we may be looking at two to three years of bottom of the industry pay if we vote no. But we willing be "fighting" as Bob says.

You're full of crap. Why do you think the company called it a zero cost contract?

The match almost made up for the increases. But hey at least the TWU has not changed from within.

Their still willing to screw their membership, the one trait that will never change.

Getting a real good feeling on an overwhelming no here at AFW. Alot of self-admitting Yes voters are swinging to a hard NO with this vote. Hearing the same at DFW. Looking at the ad, the vote no video hits, the LBO2 website hits, the press from the ad, and the rumored radio and TV coming this week, I predict the offer fails by 61%. :D

What are your thoughts?

When I started this thread, I was not aware of the sign truck being in Tulsa for yesterday and today. Bravo to those who thought that up. I will have to increase my prediction by 1% for each day. So make it a 63% no vote. I am still hearing about radio ads and a TV spot still to come, although now I hear this weekend for those.

Yep overwhelming no vs yes and all the cars passing favoring the NOs. Just wonder why the need for the 2 Tulsa County Sheriff Deputies to be on watch.
And the NO's have it by a huge margin and many honking for the NO's

And saw this large truck with vote no on it someone spent a ton of money for that it looked awesome. Thanks to the guys who braved that heat 8.5 hours was all I could take of it but thanks to the guys who were out there
