M&R LBO2 Vote Predictions

I am not offended but it is the members fault. elect a fleet service clerk pres, no license Chair of maint.
This local has been controlled by a bunch of inept leaders. they are probably good folks but inept at being leaders.
There is hardly any involvement from the smarts folks in tulsa and maybe they do not care. But when they wake up it will be to late. I am voting no.

If nothing else comes of this, I do hope the members of 514 have seen that they need to elect leaders, not international/company followers. They need to have a recall procedure for inept leaders, or when those leaders are found guilty of lying to the membership if this vote passes.

They are both fighting for it for different reasons & you know that, the Union wants to minimize the damage the bankruptcy causes the Local & the members & the company wants to increase profits so while different reasons it is in both side's best interest to work together to pass this offer & that is what they are doing.
Also their is a difference between local Management & Corporate Management, I'm pretty sure they both have different agenda's for different reasons as well.
so no I find nothing wrong with Local Management & Local 514 working together to pass this agreement.

Local management and the union working together? Now that is a new concept. I think I'll call it "Pull Together, Win Together". No wait we tried that one and it did not work. How about "Shared Sacrifice"? Oh heck we tried that one too. How about this one "Vote Yes and Save Jobs". Think that one will fail too?

The only thing that will save jobs is if many high senior folks take the measly 39 g's.
and since many will not be able to afford retirement insurance they will not go.
I am voting no.

Well I can say that since AA entered BK over 600 have left the company. More to follow. So how many more and how many layoffs? We need to keep dragging this on.
AA will have a hard time keeping its threat of 4000, 3000, 2000 or whatever amount they say they want to layoff.
