Lil' Kim & Us Airways F/a Go At It

I haven't been able to reach the CCC in FLL (was either Carol or Bobby) to find out their side of the story, but after hearing it from my pax I know that I will NEVER support Lil Kim in any way or form... no human deserves to talk to another human the way she did!

Back when I worked for AA in PHL, I had dealings with Lenny Dykstra, James Cagney, Tom Landry, and Prince. Prince was the only jerk out of the four.

You ever see Piney and Richard in the same place at the same time?

I think not!

There's a Clark Kent thing going on here.

Whoa! Unless he does it with mirrors, there is no way that the Pinester can fit in that velour warm-up suit. He's got to be at least 8 inches taller than Simmons.

Which reminds me of a Saturday night at the west end of Bourbon Street a few years ago. One AM and a white stretch limo was honking its' horn. Hundreds of people gather around and out pops Richard Simmons through the sunroof. He held court from the back of the limo. The women were going nuts. Most of the guys just shook their heads and went to the next bar.

We had a porn star...I think her name was Amber Lynn, she was flying to BUF. She was seated in the boarding lounge and got up to make a phone call (long time ago...before cell phones even) and when she did her boobs popped out of her "Little" outfit. She didn't miss a beat and went "Oopsie" laughed and went to the phone. She had the ugliest knees I've ever seen on a human being. Stands to reason I guess...YUCK!
I second that about Reggie Jackson. I remember being a 10 year old boy watching the Yankees play a scrimmage with their AAA farm club. A bunch of us were getting autographs and he was the rudest of all of them. He took a glove from a kid signed it and then literally threw it at him. From that day on I despised Reggie Jackson.
JFK Jr. was quiet but very nice. P. Diddy was nice too. Real classy guy. Katie Couric was short but very warm and friendly. LeAnn Rimes was nice but quiet.

Vern Troyer(aka Mini Me)
He was more than a "mini" load of trouble on a recent PIT-LAX flight:
-Left his #1 all over the F lav(he took his handler into the lav with him)
-Screaming at the f/a about the quality of the meal and how he didn't deserve to eat the same food as these peons.
-Was downing whiskey and sprite from the minute we pushed from the gate and when he wanted more, wouldn't stop pushing the call button and kept "shaking" the glass at the f/a. Mr. Troyer recently got out of rehab
-Pinched the f/a's "assets"
-His handler/body double were intimidating people in the F cabin if they came even close to them.

Years ago I had Muhammed Ali and his wife in first class from CHO to CLT. He and his wife waited and got off last after he had shaken the hand or at least greeted every passenger that was interested. Most were saying "hello Champ" or "how are you Champ" and he responded to each and every one of them...and always with that SMILE!!!

I'll never forget that. It was great.

Eddie Van Halen.. moved quick was quiet signed autographs, bought out entire dunkin donut stand

Tony Bennett..... Pure class, sat in first, everybody recognized him, yet no one approached, 1/2 way thru flight went to aft lav and took over 1hour coming to the front stopping at every row signing autographs and taking pictures. respect went both ways. it was amazing to see..

George Carlin, had to ask him to stop making me laugh we had to fly the plane. just kept at it, this that pilots, stuff..... very nice

George Burns... i thought if you shook his hand it would break, fragile, but a legend... awesome seeing him

Mohammad ALI... LAX to PHL ... all i could must was hi champ. i will always remember the look, his eyes, right at me as if to say even you recognize me and i appreciate that (said nothing, unable to shake hands).

Don Knotts..... Barney in CLT what could have been better, signed my Barney t shirt. was very cordial. even better he was touring with......see below

Barbara Eden ... I dream of jennie... she was traveling with mr knotts, what a pair! just a wave and a picture.

Chuck Yeager.... waited all conversation for me to recognize him. just talking about planes with a stately gentleman... then at the end, i said nice meeting you general yeager as i left....

i'm sure there were more...... thats what makes this job great, you get to meet with people (sometimes they are not at thier best but most of the time they are) nothing better then seeing loved ones greeted in terminal knowing you in some small way helped make it happen.

:D

He is a regular on AWA. A class act. Allah broke the mold when He made Ali.

She was neither warm nor friendly when she pondered, on-air, why US Airways F/As were close to striking in 99... she commented that waitresses don't make 50 grand a year or something to that affect. Meanwhile she's a millionaire by reading the news and getting colonostrophies on TV.

:D Ha ha! That sure sounds like an intestinal disaster, Light! I'm sure you meant colonoscopy, but your version is much more amusingly descriptive.

I've been on a few flights with celebrities, luckily, I've never witnessed anything but exemplary behavior. Bad behavior gets printed and sells newspapers.

I was on a flight with Sinbad. He didn't look so funny locked up in a giant aluminum cylinder! He looked scared too death.

In res we get to talk to many many celebs. My first was Sharon Stone heading to Pit for her grammy dress. I had no idea who she was at the time but she was very nice and very cordial. Told her since I worked nights didn't get to the movies much. My son was then going to the Art Institute in Pit and while visiting him one time and staying at the ==you know the big old hotel in downtown pit--where the movie crews stay. Anyway Sharon was in town and I took a picture my son had done of her to the movie production office and left it along with a note who I was and said I knew now who she was. Well, about 1 hour later a knock at the door was Sharon. So very nice and gave the boys autographs and thanked me for my service on her flight.
When they were closing Reno Res we got a call from Alan Jackson on the last night. He talked to everyone there and was very nice also.
Saw Wayne Newton on a flight to PHX one time and he nodded and said Hi.
Talked to Paula Abdul many times=-=she's a big HP fan. So very nice.
Now you won't believe this one. Got Mike Tyson on the phone 2x in 2 nights. He was very very polite--even when I told him not to bite anyone--while joking with him, and I kept saying how he didn't sound like himself--well, most of that's an act anyway. He couldn't have been nicer and booked 5 first class tickets--and didn't have a fit with change fees the next night.

LOL! :p

Oh yes, forgot about Sinbad who sat next to my son in first when he was 14. My son offered him some of my Mom's chocolate chip cookies. They had a good time telling each other jokes and he was so patient with a 14 year old.
