Leather Jacket

doofi (plural of doofus, pronounced doof - eye)

Man, is this a great forum or what! I learn something new every time I log in! Doofi... Who knew! But really, flight attendants are totally incapable of looking like doofi. They wouldn't know how.

This leaves a decent looking leather jacket to wear out to dinner, rather than looking like a moron with your trenchcoat and jeans combo..

Although we might have a leather jacket, we will still look like morons because most of us will still walk out the hotel wearing cheap jeans and white Reeboks.

Who else walks more than 20 feet outside a hotel without getting into a cab or a limo? ;)

Well I would like to see the cabin crew in leather pants, you know like the "Doors" lead singer wore?

I was a kid and use to love those leather pants!

I don't know about "doofi"....but there sure are a lot of flight attendants here at Eagle that look like "Dooky" :p

Leather bomber jackets?

How cheesy can you get? Maybe they can wear cowboy hats as well.

I miss professionalism.

AA F/As, if you guys are upset about your uniforms, take a look around a US Airways hub. Management hates them so much they have outfitted them in the same ill fitting, all navy pallbearer duds, regardless of your position at the airline, since 1983!

Angel, if you think your two best friends, Polly and Esther, are hot in the summer, just try wearing leather pants during boarding at DFW in August with that forward door wide open. There wouldn't be any ice left for the customers' drinks because you would be shoving it down the front of those pants.

Rumor has it that if you wear the leather jacket you must wear an ear-ring. Can anyone confirm? Also, the Col Klink type hat is being replaced with a red do-rag. No confirmation on this yet....

Yeah, but you always have to sacrifice for "coolness" or so I've been told.

I would be all for 'cool' if it was comfortable!

What will the pilots do when the heat cranks up? will they have short sleeve leather shirts?

Hey, how about leather shorts for the cabin crew. . ."One up" the Southwest crew. . . :groovy:

I heard bikers wear leather for protection,
so leather could be a safety issue??? :cop:

Question to Light years, why does your dancer have a bag over their head? :eek:ff:

If you don't enjoy this post I'm sure it is because you are not on the meds I am on. The doc gave me some good stuff to help me feel better until I get over this bronchitis. I am feeling pretty good

skyange- my old avatar was a US Airways employee, remaining anonomous on the internet as ordered by the company. :p

The new one is arming the door. :)

An absolute disgrace to the profession of Airline Pilot.

Heck, he is even wearing his wedding ring.

If that is your opinion on the exterior, what would you say after you see the lining?
