I received my amfa literature in the mail today and what did I find. . .an amfa card. They want me to sign an amfa card!!   They even sent me a bumper sticker. Putting the big bucks into this one!!!

I thought all was going well with the count? What's wrong, did you get mixed up with your numbers again??

Thanks but no thanks amfa!!!

Looks to me like someone else is getting desperate.
Yeh, sorry about all the same posts. The computer kept freezing up and wouldn't send them through (or so it said) so I kept trying to send it. I have contacted the moderators to see if they will delete the other ones.

Twuer we need the humor, despiration is when you have the attention of the moderator and he either deletes or edits your post because you have crossed the line. I believe davey boy and several others have been warned.

I have noticed that only one stepped forward , don't expect an apology from the amfa boys!!!!!!!!!!! I do have to note, The informer did make an attempt but soon went back to his ways.

Keep it up! The Amfa drive is falling apart!

AMFA is the "SEABISCUIT" of the airline industry. AMFA might lose a few, but AMFA always comes back to WIN in the end!
AMFA might lose a few,

You think 10,000 is a few??????????????

AMFA always comes back to WIN in the end!

They sure WON at UAL didn't they??????????

Does the 3,000+ laid off at AA or ALL the people laid off from PAN-AM represent only a few to the TWU! Kirk Wells is still here at AFW taking up space and that guy is still living in his pickup here! Look your 10,000 figure is B.S. and you know it!

The three quotes from the twu leadership are:
"take the letter"

"they can do that"

"I'll get back to you"

Don't forget "your just lucky to have a job". Tell that to the 3000 at AA on layoff with recall to an OSM slot with a $10 hr pay cut. Yipppee!!!!

How do we put a number on the amount of A&P jobs lost by losing R&D, Deicing and OSMs? Has the expansion rate of the airline outpaced its demand for A&Ps?

Like I said before the big cuts that we are seeing at other carriers is due to the fact that AA undercut their labor costs. The TWU has made us the scabs of the airline labor movement. The TWUs response of "at least we have a job" is the same thing that scabs say to strikers.

The fact is that this story is still being written. The next few months will determine whether its a tragedy, and we are stuck with the TWU or an epic, where all the mechanics end up in the same union fighting to restore their profession.

Bob,

Excellent point!!! Might want to add the IAM in that one also.
As long as the "at least we have a job" mentality continues, we will be
taken advantage of by our 'task masters' and be forced into continous
capitulation until our children are working instead of going to school.

Take Care,

Actually Bob, Scabs are when eastern went on strike and people crossed the picket line! I know of at least one in Tulsa who was moved several times because he crossing the lines! This individual was in constant terror!

As far as taking Pay Cuts ual I believe you are lower paid than AA! You along with Amfa set the stage for mass availability of AMT's in the third Party Maintenance arena! In turn has caused the other Airlines to either adapt or fail! What a big Choice! Sounds like you are proud of this achievement! Another Me attitude!

No one like what you and amfa have done in the Maintenance arena Thanks for the help, but no Thanks!

Everyone wants as much as they can get and with the track record of the TWU we are here for the long term! Part of representing is to know when to stop! We at AA choose the smarter path! Unfortunately inexperience wantabes at your airline did not! Lower wages and massive layoffs? Is not the way to go!

cio, again you proove you will type what your masters tell you to type. AMFA set the stage for mass availability of AMTs in the 3rd party maintenance arena? Why don't you include the full truth with such lies? AMFA was saddled with inept industrial union contract language after they were certified at their current unions. The iam lost INDY at UAL. Lies are to be expected from cowards.
