LAA Aircraft Employee Dedication gone?

Just boarded an AA 738 and see the employee dedication sign is covered up and replaced with the AA flight symbol logo. I asked the number one and his only words to me were and I quote "USAIR" and "they don't believe in employee recognition".

At any rate seems like a small thing to recognize outstanding employees I know several agents and F/As that had aircraft dedicated to them sad to see this end.

The recognition plaques were not covered over.  They were removed and replaced with the black (?) AA symbol.
