bob our staffing is so short (but you say we are over staffed) yet rumor mill has it the corporate wigs were in our station a few days ago and the rumor has it that corp wants 3 peeps per plane only
now our MIA flights (3 a day) all have one thing in consistency....delays... and extremely heavy loads both ways... DFW (about 4 a day) also similar to MIA very heavy most of the times PHX (2X daily, sometimes 3 a day) also heavy loads each require minimum in the bins CLT same but loads vary
our leads are always working 2 flights at same time our real situation if corp has their way these flights will be late departing our real situation take this past week for example yesterday 2 peeps total on the afternoon DFW flight took a delay departing oh well 2 peeps on ORD a CRJ 700 minor delay so bob can you explain our "overstaffing" when we on the mid and afternoon shifts are consistently getting shafted by personal shortages leads working 2 flights that arrive at same time often it takes longer for the bags to go from plane to bag claim due to the short staffing this past week 2 of our part time agents left to go to DEN and CLT respectively the mgmt. fired 1 agent our mgmt. is not covering peeps who bang out sick or fmla that occurs almost daily so if corp wants us to do 3 peeps per flight I see major delays coming and I wont give a rats bec they are not in our boat we are the ones who pay the price for mgmts. stupidity heck bob may be you could visit bwi and see how we operate on the afternoons

Right now I'm at work, it's 21:25 central time, and its tough to write a proper response in a iPhone. I will address this in depth ASAP.

That is crazy. I thought we had it bad but our loads are similar and we have more DFW flights than that. CLT and PHX as well but somehow we have great D0 times. We've gotten used to it and staffing isn't as bad as it once was. Thanks to DFW's close the ramp for a drop of rain or two clouds we got like 8 diversions.

Bob. No need for ur pro company pro mgmt response. I gave you our real reality situation. Not to mention we are losing 2 more part timers as theyll be heading to phx and one more to dca.

lol no we have not had any E 190s in about 3 yrs or so we handle CRJ 200, 700 and 900 depending day of week, sometimes a dash 8 or two erj 145 for the express mainline... airbus 319-320-321 738 and md 80

we have 31 FT not counting the leads
18 part timers

of the FT alone bagroom has 4 of them PT 4 are in the bagroom they don't work out on the ramp
then for FT alone M/F 4 of them plus 6 pt M/F though some of them also do lav or bagroom areas depending on the day

Now when it comes to bidding our sta mgr favors the pt very heavily giving them favorable shifts with days off our FT get shafted with that as a number of FT I work with are pi$$ed off bec of how she favors the pt as of today 3 more PT already submitted PE 66 transfers to go to other cities of the 3 PT who we were to get only 1 turned it down 1 is on vacation 1 has started come June 1 PT who is active Military will be leaving us for deployment to Japan come June Some of the FT here have submitted PE66 for transfers bec of our station mgr and her screwy way of doing things we keep losing good peep and not getting much replacement So again if the company truly wants 3 peeps per plane remember this major delays not my problem once the bag runner takes off to drop the bags that dude wont be back for a while esp with heavy loads for MIA DFW PHX

Again, where is the union in all this, robbed? PT getting better days off is a no no. Our PT are considered weekend warriors meaning they are there to A. Obviously help with manpower B. To cover weekends so more of the FT have weekends off.

Favoring PT is the norm, but at least you have more FT than PT.
So... that 90 clerks that shows in your seniority list that came out in December is not true.
