We had reached $24 and change by the time you got your standalone (Make us wait) agreement.

If this is the case then some people who negotiated again in that room had no clue how many people we have currently who are mixing and matching their hours to make certain life accommodations.

I accounted for the fact that had the TWU filed alone we would not have gotten the Peterson protest and my guess is the NMB would not have put us on ice for 9 months while they did their due diligence to make sure everything was sound for the Association.

Perhaps it would have taken them 3 or 4 months to certify?

Operational needs, Weez you want something flexible work at home stuffing envelopes. Both airlines have very liberal swap privileges and actually give local managers flexibility to accommodate. If you need more days than is allowed maybe you should look elswhere

You don't understand. We can adjust our shifts now however we like as long as we still put in 50% of our hours.

A low seniority member who has Tue Wed off can work those two days and now take off Sat Sun and lose nothing.

Again if people lose that flexibility you're going to see a ton of NO voters. I'm just telling you like it is.

By reading the two different contracts there are huge ideological differences that are probably too ingrained in both sides DNA.
