I would if I were you. Help get you out of that studio and having to cover your laundry basket with a towel.
Hey W, I got a red for showing you and Tim as cute little kids, who would do such a thing. Some grouchy "old folk".

Not from me. Be careful man. You've been riding the grouches on the other thread a little hard. That's why I stopped in and made my comment. I don't want you to become the new red mark King.

Did "someone" plant a few seeds in your head? Oy vey.
Yeeesssssss. I had a great conversation late last night early morn with a very reasonable brother that is involved from the LAA side and he gave me a perspective from the LAA side. Granted, he said a lot of things that you tend to say but I don't hear you too well as your delivery is almost always baited with personal attacks or condescending talk.

My ears are always open but, like everyone else, sometimes we can't hear from certain peeps, whether they are telling us something we should know or not.

Looks like neither me or you put much into a dwelling place. I could care less where I stay other than it being in a safe area that is also convenient. So I'm about 30 steps from the subway but nestled in a very upscale community. I'm almost never home so it makes no sense to have anything more, although it isn't a studio. I have been thinking about doing something other than driving a beater around though. That new Jeep Wrangler unlimited is a really nice vehicle. The problem is that I only put about 3,000 miles a year on a car.

So this particular individual attempted to impart the same similar wisdom that I have attempted to impart on you, and it's his un sarcastic delivery that made the case clear for you. Interesting I must say. I'm going to make a mental note of this.

Now I just gave another piece of advice for you on FB that I would like to share here.

I personally prefer not to nestle. I don't consider nestling to be very manly. I prefer to plop myself.

I'm not saying your delivery is bad, but it isn't necessarily well received by me, for whatever reason. And I'm not saying my delivery is the best either. Oftentimes my humor or sarcasm or edge push things too far to spike a reaction. So, some people can hear me, some can't.

So your saying hypothetically speaking of course, you could work ten hours a week and still get that $2774 with no penalty...If that is true and known, you would probably see some folks not do the "hard 40" on our side.
Don't believe it will be a straight 40 and 20 for the bridge payment, they're may be a different formula used.

NYer, I was told it would go back to previous averaged hours worked, then I was told yesterday it would be based on future earnings based off a 40 hour work week for all. Then anything over 40 worked would be recalculated for the Jan payment. In Tim's example, what he worked the last week, month or year would have no bearing on his lump sum, nor anyone who may have worked 60 hrs a week over the past year. Basically, everyone' check (in August) who is topped out would be the same.

So it seems the process is still in flux. Seems the methodology is a point that needs to be finalized. If they wanted to fulfill their timeline for the first payment then a 40/20 payment would make sense. However, there was concern about the fairness so alternate ideas have been discussed. We'll find out definitively fairly soon.

Ok thanks, I was one who averaged about 52 hours a week in the past and just wondered if those earnings or hours would benefit my first lump sum check. Guess we will soon learn. Thanks

The idea being that if they went with "averaging" it would cause less overpayments than a straight 40/20 split. (also considering not all PT shifts fit into the 20 hour bag)
