JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

SAT, SJU and STL are potentially all at risk as the language is written.

I think it is more than that if counting only AA metal instead of combined flight operations into some stations (which is my understanding as to how the measurement would be conducted). Unfortunately, it isn't easy to count as what were once strictly AA routes are now being flown by US metal and vise versa.
 
So not a peep from the Association as to when the negotiations might resume. Not a peep on where we stand, one item, two items, all the important items. I know they stated they presented AA with their "Comprehensive Proposal". At least do a weekly update just to bash AA and say no response from them and no new negotiations scheduled. At every Crew meeting and town hall, AA was sure to say the company offered the mechanics and fleet a Comprehensive Proposal which was industry leading and they had not received any counter from that. The company is making the Association look like rookies at both negotiating and other communications. The Executive Negotiators were supposed to speed it up and get us that ILC. Heck, I think we would be better off letting our own folks handle that.

The real answer is if we actually are still negotiating not a damn thing is going to happen to any of those TWU staffed cities.

There’s absolutely no chance in hell after trying for years to build some type of relationship that they’ll chop that tree down in one fell swoop. Hell no. Not a chance.

At this point of negotiations, the proposal passed back and forth are all inclusive and not piece meal.

Seems the airline would be in communication with the EC as they gauge what to include, exclude or modify in their response to the Association counteroffer.

You may get an indication of upcoming dates, if any scheduled, or the possibility of an agreement when the three vacancies in the Negotiating Committee on the TWU side are filled as they'll need them to "agree" to any agreement before being sent to Members.

True, but to tell which metal is easy and can be done:

AA 1 - AA 399 LAA
AA 400 - AA 899 LUS
AA 900 - AA 1650 LAA
AA 1651 - AA 2174 LUS
AA 2175 - AA 2814 LAA

AA 2815+ is Eagle (different sequences for different operators, codeshares, ferry flights, etc) that aren’t of any consequence to station staffing.

All BS. We been done since august, waiting on mx. I told everyone last august but people dont listen. Now the company must be pissed and it was reported to me that we lost catering.

Dude, listen to their crap, the narrative is hilarious. When i broke the news last august, it set off a firestorm. With union bs then the company firing back....both talking about July. Since the august encounter, fly said fleet was done.
We dont need to be used as a pawn for mx. But since no fleet committee will Man Up to sito, we will continue to be delayed with 2 mx as our only negotiators. Sad.

The association isnt making fleet wait, but rather the 2 mx that are negotiating for us are using our group as a pawn for the other group. That is wrong.
And i just hope Fly doesnt send word again that more things are coming off the table. As we approach september, the union loses leverage as 4 stations will get whacked and weez and the other morons will b responsible for 3-5 years of new section 6 negotiations. Mark weez, pj, cltrat, mr baskett as the liars. Mark my words.

Your “ so called sources” aren’t posting here. YOU ARE. YOU are the one guaranteeing these things. Also, don’t reply with Im telling you, “ catering is gone, your insurance is gone, get used to it! What are you going to say when you are wrong? Are you going to “MAN UP”?

robbed the 4 cities Tim is trying to “Doom and Gloom” people into believing are headed for the grave are TWU staffed cities.

They may have the language to be closed if we don’t have a JCBA in place with language to protect them when our current contracts become amendable.

But the Company WILL NOT close them anyway period prior to current ongoing Negotiations.

thx WeAA were those the TWU staffed stations original AA stations? and what was the type language that cld allow the company to shutter?
