Yet you still haven't learned and will vote for Sito even though I showed you how he gave up health care at United, McGee, Alaska, United Ground, and now for 10,000 rail members just last month. You are an obstructionist anti union person and because of members like you wanting to keep the status quo corruption, we will never be able to organize Delta, Boeing, Airbus. Sad. Yea i said most. Its actually true. Not much happens at local chairman conferences either. Look, i know who you are and i know you support a thief who stole your pension but i also know you support Sito but you have refused to educate your members about his giving up health care on all of his properties over the last 2 years. You want to make me your enemy, i guess i cant stop that but i would appreciate you educating your members about Sito and his awful awful contracts over the past 2 years. So, no, i dont think you are doing your job because you should focus on telling your members about the corporate greed within this union instead of talking about someone who actually stuck close to $1 in your pocket when my corporate campaign against united airlines forced ta2 and the elimination of a 2 year wage freeze and more wage. You only have to attend meetings for Local office. DL141, and GL no. The official qualifications are pretty lame, member in good standing for 5 years is the GL qualification, but more importantly is the actual duties of the job. The duties are contained in the constitution. The duties of the President is to be the "Chief Organizer", attend E.C. meetings, appoint members. I guess anyone can appoint members but Martinez never organized one single person ever. He was a conductor and moved to some safety job then to Grand Lodge Vice President. The S/T isn't in charge of any territory but must be well versed in accounting policies. Dora, like Martinez have ZERO qualifications for their titles and dutes. Never mind the corruption within that is burying this union and WILL bury this union if change doesn't happen. My S/T has far far far more experience than Dora ever did plust she actually fits the duties of the job since she has a formal accounting education. PJ and others can be blowhards all day long and ring the bells for someone who stole their pension, and someone who hosed thousands and thousands of members on their health care (Sito) over the past 2 years. They think that somehow Sito won't do that at American. And BTW, Baskett was just reprimanded by the DOL for talking crap and using union resources. Not good to use the members dime while campaigning but I guess nobody can stop Mark.

You don't know who I am at all. Nice try though. To really know me would require you to get and see how our Committee operates and fights daily for our brothers and sisters on the ramp. Our contract is still being negotiated. Someone like you who is running for office in the IAM should know that. Healthcare is still on the table and is being fought for as we speak. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I never lost my pension. As for your, yet again, unfounded assertion that I don't educate my memebers, you would be completly wrong on that front. Everyday we remind them to stay strong and hold our Negotiating Team accountable for making sure that our healthcare remains the same or better. Additionally, I have stated publically that I would not vote for a proposed contract that contains anything less than the healthcare we have now. We provide our membership with all the information regarding these negotiations as we receive it and encourage them to tell us what they think about the process as well as other issues that concern them.
It intrigues me that you only think we are doing our job if we spout your talking points to our membership. Is that how you will measure success for the Committee members if by some strange stroke of luck you win this election? Will you censor and belittle those that don't follow your line of thinking? That's not how you build a better union, Tim. That's how you destroy a union, which would make you anti-union and an obstructionist.
I didn't make you my enemy. You became my enemy when you slandered my brothers and sisters that lead this fight from the front everyday.

From what I’ve heard not if you get the DOL involved. All bets are off and it’s a free for all.
