Keeping it real newbie. Take all of the debt for all of the airlines operating in the US, AAL has 46% of the total. Them big fat wage increases did nothing to make the employees work any harder.
Parker has been called out for not paying more of the debt off. He prefers not to since the interest they pay is at such a low level. Many analysts do not agree but when you are making the kind of money they have the complaints are not very loud. As for the employees working hard, the truth is it amazing people worked as hard as they did with a 13 year pay cut. All the money lost kind of makes the raise look flimsy.

It will be interesting to see how this effects the UAL vote. I believe their new deal has language keeping them 2% above industry standard.

What is Delta's mechanic license compensation and Lead?

Should be interesting, puts more pressure on the ASSociation I'm thinking, and on Parker&Co....what is it going to be now Delta+3,+7,0, minus.....lwhat is everyone's feeling on this latest development?

Idk, anything could happen. It's interesting how a non union airline sets the bar for the union carriers. I would hope we at least match this latest move.
