Is This Poor "sportsmanship". . .

Several amfa suporters on this board have mentioned that they will be campaiging and voting for the incumbent president in the upcoming elections at Local 514.

Now, it is no secret to amfa supporters as well as many TWU supporters that this man is not right for the job and needs to be replaced. It is that obvious!! Nothing against the man as a person but he has failed his members on several occasions and failed at his duties as acting president of Local 514.

Does anyone have an opinion as to why the amfa supporters would want to get him re-elected? Could it be some sort of revenge or could it be they are just spoiled sports and that is the best way to get back at the TWU???




There is really no need to add spin to this. It is a simple question. Just looking for reasoning.

Does it really matter?? We will have many more elections before we enter into "REAL" negotiations with the company. jim little will "dictate" to whoever is in there. Common Sense should answer most of your questions. As long as there is another option, there will always be those people willing to give it a shot. The twu has 20 years of concessions to offer, thus everyone is looking for a solution!! Thank the afl-cio for making the AMFA our only other option.

Look I know the guy is no rocket scientist and I have no use for him but are you sure that where he failed others would have succeeded?

He did a good job at dividing up the membership with his drive to take stuff away from the line guys to get stuff for Tulsa.

As bad as the TWU is, we know that they are not going to bump Randy up to an International spot, but are some of your other candidates using this opportunity to springboard themselves into, or back into the International?

Bob is exactly what the international fears. Bob is informed, articulate and professional. Bob listens to the people who elected him because that is what they want, someone to speak for the membership not against it.

Twuer, I appreciate you starting this post. I have to agree that Randy is not the prime candidate we need now to lead us into the future. I as well wish no disrespect to Randy himself. And would like to say thank you for his service as an Officer of our Union.

As for the attitude of the AMFA supporters in this thread it is a reflection of their "Skill, Knowledge,and Integrity" as to their support to our membership here at Local 514 during this important election...

These guys are "Hell-Bent" on causing chaos in any manner to promote their "Skill, Knowledge, and Integrity.

This only prooves their "Apathy, Incompetence, and lack of Integrity" as leaders. And only solidifies the type of representation that has been rejected by the employees within the "Class and Craft" at AA.......!!!!!!!!!!!
