Is Phoenix becoming the new PIT?

I think he ment that you would soon be hearing that from management...as we have all heard it many times before.

The only divisions are USAirways, PSA and PDT at this company... wise up.
Not true the WEST loses money all the time, the EAST does the subsidizing. Time to sell off the losing part of this operation!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what CO sees in it.

 I just LOVE how I get brought into this. I calls it as I sees it. If it's negative and I don't like it You'll ALL hear about it. I don't give a sh!t if anyone here likes it. Wackjobs. <_<

There is no "parts" it's one airline. Time to adjust your perspective.

Well, when you think about it....what has AWA actually brought/contributed to this MERGER? The ONLY thing I can think of is a TOTAL Degredation of the former USAirways. PHX is more of a destination than a major hub.....with that said isn't it possible that the MERGER with AWA was just a catalyst to keep US East in the picture longer for something larger to come? I mean US East is ONLY making money because of all of the reorganization that the Airline went through during it frequent visits to BK.....AWA was nearing extinction but at the time of the Merger was in the black and was 3 times smaller than USAirways so a merger with a smaller regional Airline was more likely to be approved than with a larger one. US East is sitting on a gold mine on the East Coast and just needed to managed properly.....although we're still waiting for that part....I strongly believe the game plan was to keep the original USAirways in the picture longer. You seem to have all the stats. I only know our block hours have decreased significantly over the last 2yrs for pilots and fa's. No new flying out of the PHX hub. We have seen increase in East flights, but it averages out to no additional block on the West. More people are going back on RSV. I have not been able to hold certian trips, blocks the last year that was no problem in the past. No explanation by the Dougweiser either.

I am not sure if this helps, but I think it has to do to do with the fact that you are in a multi-based airline now.

When you only have PHX obviously the flying will only increase. We have 8 bases now and even before the merger, time was always coming and going from base to base.

We have been together now for 2 years and that is the time line you give for your 7% decrease.

I personally don't think it is anything but normal day to day operations.
