US Airways announces planned inflight entertainment

ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- US Airways (Nasdaq: UAIR - News) today announced an enhanced inflight entertainment aboard all it's 279 Mainline aircraft. Free coloring books and Crayons will be issued to all First Class passengers, while coach customers will receive face paint.
Also in a bold move to ratchet the inflight entainment competition up another notch, US Airways hinted at the development of a system similar to two cans and a string to let the listener listen to Karoke sung into the other end of the string. While exact details and engineering must be worked out, Exectitives of US AIrways are confident, "This new approach will win back all the customers we have lost to LCC (Low Cost Carriers)" 😉
